Answers for evaluating Upvantix.

Understand the company, AI delivery model, Operations Platform, deployment approach and AWS Managed Services commercial model.

01

Upvantix & engagement

How the company, capabilities and starting point fit together.

What does Upvantix do?

Upvantix is an AWS Select Tier Services Partner providing AWS consulting and managed services, alongside an AI-native Operations Platform for CMMS and Field Service Management. Its work spans customer-specific AI/ML engineering, cloud modernization, managed AWS operations and industrial software products.

How do the two Upvantix business lines fit together?

Upvantix has two business lines: Industrial Software Products and AWS Consulting & Managed Services. Industrial Software Products includes two separate AWS-native products, CMMS and Field Service Management (FSM), each with built-in AI assistance that helps support operational workflows. AWS Consulting & Managed Services covers cloud modernization, data and analytics, AI/ML and generative AI, security and cloud operations. The two lines share engineering discipline but can be engaged separately.

How does an engagement begin?

Start with the business outcome, current systems, constraints and decision that needs to be made. Upvantix can then shape the appropriate discovery, assessment, proof-of-value or architecture path before a larger commitment is defined.

02

AI & intelligent automation

How AI use cases move from an idea into a controlled production workflow.

What kinds of AI solutions does Upvantix design?

The practice covers Generative AI applications, enterprise knowledge and RAG systems, document intelligence, AI agents, multi-agent workflows and applied Machine Learning such as forecasting, classification and anomaly detection. The architecture follows the business problem rather than forcing every use case into one model.

What is the Upvantix 5/30 AI delivery model?

For an agreed and bounded use case, the model targets a working AI proof of concept in five business days and one validated production use case in 30 business days. Delivery depends on timely access to the required data, systems, decisions, security approvals and other prerequisites confirmed during discovery.

Can AI agents take action without human review?

Agent authority should match the workflow and risk. Upvantix designs tool access, approval gates, escalation paths, auditability and human review where decisions or actions require accountability. Autonomous action is not assumed by default.

03

Operations Platform & deployment

How CMMS, Field Service Management and customer-controlled deployment work.

Is the Upvantix Operations Platform a shared SaaS product?

The current positioning is customer-controlled enterprise software designed for deployment in the customer’s AWS environment rather than a shared Upvantix SaaS environment. The deployment boundary, responsibilities and integrations are confirmed for each implementation.

Do customers have to migrate every system before using Upvantix?

No. The approach is to integrate where practical. Upvantix can connect with existing applications, databases, APIs, document repositories and operational systems when that is the right architecture for the workflow.

Can CMMS and Field Service Management be evaluated separately?

Yes. CMMS focuses on asset maintenance planning and execution, while Field Service Management focuses on installed equipment, dispatch and field-service work. They can be evaluated around the specific workflow while sharing an asset-lifecycle perspective.

04

AWS Managed Services

How the operating scope, AWS environment and commercial model are established.

How is Upvantix Managed Services priced?

The service uses a recurring monthly commitment for an agreed workload scope and included CloudOps capacity. Additional authorized hands-on work is tracked transparently as additional service hours. Exact rates and commercial terms are defined in the customer-specific proposal.

Does the management fee automatically increase with the AWS bill?

No. Normal AWS consumption growth does not automatically increase the management fee. A material change in workload scope, complexity, operational demand or responsibility may require a joint capacity review and re-scoping.

Can Upvantix work in our existing AWS accounts?

Yes. The intended model uses customer-owned AWS accounts and customer-approved, least-privilege access. Access, data, escalation and responsibility boundaries are agreed before ongoing operation begins.

What can the managed operating scope include?

Depending on the agreed workload, the scope can include observability, incident and request coordination, change routines, security-remediation coordination, backup and recovery oversight, FinOps review, service reporting and continual improvement.
